Re: Facebook Censorship strikes again - smAsho mAsh banned.

On "long-term" planetary average temperatures - ie baseline temperatures - with particular stress on long term average. Shorter term variations deviating from average thus come from albedo effects (clouds/ice-snowcover-atmospheric particle reflectivity) and solar insolation....not greenhouse gas eff...

Re: GSM & Other Documentaries to Watch

Andy, It's a good video for reading between the lines. They never address where the water in those lakes came from. Since it basically just evaporated off, it didn't come from glacier melt since there was glacial ice still in place by the time the water was gone. It had to come from an "event" well ...

Hi Kink,

I want to add that Ugly Stik rods are my personal favorite. Affordable and imo well tuned. Do you have experience with them? If so, how do you rate them?
I've also found Daiwa and Shimano to have very nice products as well.

Re: Little known volcanic influence on stratospheric chemistry-Carbonyl Sulfide

Andy, i believe there is an aberrant gene running around the human race that predisposes some toward a high degree of susceptibility to delusional thinking. When that is coupled with the genetic makeup responsible for sociopathy in a large enough percentage of people making up that sub-population on...

Re: Bringing more to bear for clarity on the magnetosphere

The 12.59, 12.99 data was a big factor in my thoughts while exploring the (not) "anomaly". The Mayotte ELF event in November is what got DMIII going with it. There's certainly a lot going on now...all at once, so it wasn't difficult to leap toward "anomaly" when it first came up. A lesson for us as ...

Re: Bringing more to bear for clarity on the magnetosphere

Grinding my way through this newer, more catastrophic thesis that has been sprung on us. Its relationship to the geomagnetic perspective definitely says it belongs on this topic. https://www.siliconinvestor.com/public/3581144_124e1fd57d2423fbdf412b6923f5dfec.jpg In Ben Davidson's words, "The North (...

Re: Little known volcanic influence on stratospheric chemistry-Carbonyl Sulfide

Thanks for the additional info Andy. I put zero stock in global warming caused by anything humans do on the planet. So the global warming premise of the ISA paper puts it on my hucksterism list. CO2 has never been credibly shown to be a greenhouse gas in the Earth's open atmosphere. What has been sh...
