Handbook of Electronics: Tables and Formulas,
6th edition 1986.

It's good but it's complex at 287 pages and goes into advanced Electronics. I have the paper bound pocket edition.

The Radio Shack version
at 52 pages is excellent for hobbyists, and those learning electrical and electronics.

AWG Tables, American Wire Gauge chart to decide what AWG wire size you need to choose when wiring or rewiring.

In general, most people need to use left AWG size column, and Maximum Current for Chassis Wiring (next to far column)

Urbano Monte, 16th Century Italian Cartographer.

The Full Monte 1587 Map of the World https://s3.amazonaws.com/rumsey3/Monte/ ... atalog.pdf
(Stanford Library, 10' x 10' Priceless Color Map, there was no ice on Antarctica, has a huge waterway on Eastern full side of California, and more land anomalies compared to the present time.)

Jack the Ripper and the Whitechapel Murders in the late 1800s.

Back in the 1970s, Jack the Ripper and the Whitechapel Murders was frequently brought up in the (pulp-paper) Newspapers and magazines. I think William Randolph Hearst (Hirsch) had a few articles. I'm leaning to Aron Kosminski as Jack, so far. We might never know for sure.
If you're curious, you can check out Casebook, it is highly interactive, Whodunnit? and Suspects and Victims and Witnesses, newspapers, police reports, letters and postcards taunting the police.

In the Dissertations section is interesting papers, one is the story of Sweeney Todd - Barber & Surgeon, true life history (Johnny Depp movie was a slightly loose documentary)

I would say with 100% confidence that back in the late 1880s, organ transplantation was being attempted. Here, in MTFBiologics, it states transplants have been done since Middle Ages. It's not too far fetched to think in 1888 that Jack the Ripper was gathering body organs to transplant. It's the you know who's, whose body organs fail the most frequently (1 in 3). It's the big giant head of the wandering who's, who funded and started the British Red Cross back around 1870 which expanded to IRC. This information can easily be found on the family's website archives.

https://www.mtfbiologics.org/resources/ ... ransplant
The dream of curing illness and injury by transplanting organs, bone and other tissue is probably as old as the history of healing with the first recorded attempts to transplant bone dating back to the Middle Ages. Unfortunately the scientific knowledge and surgical techniques that have made modern transplant medicine possible had to wait until the 19th and 20th centuries.

The Family ‹ Philanthropy :: The Rothschild Archive
https://www.rothschildarchive.org/famil ... opy/health
British Red Cross. The Rothschild family has been closely associated with the British Red Cross since its inception in 1870 when Nathaniel, 1st Lord Rothschild (1840-1915) became one of the founder members of the committee of the National Society for Aid to the Sick and Wounded in War.

The London Hospital

Nathan Mayer Rothschild (1777-1836) became a subscriber to the London Hospital almost as soon as he settled in London and became a Governor in 1826. The hospital had been founded in 1740 and had a long tradition of providing for Jewish patients. After Nathan's death in 1836 his widow, Hannah (1783-1850), and her children continued to provide financial support for the hospital, particularly during the rebuilding of 1842, which resulted in the establishment of wards for the separate care of Jewish patients. In the same year the family also set up the Rothschild Fund to help maintain these Jewish wards.

Many of the Family members died young. Died at age 20 through 42. There's a lot more who died young.
WHY? Most likely died from bad genetics causing organ failures. I can say that because I know medical and know the Family's 21 prevalent genetic disorders.

There was an important job to be done
and Everybody was asked to do it.

Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it;
But Nobody did it.

Somebody got angry about that...
because it was Everybody’s job.

Everybody thought Anybody could do it;
but, Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it.

It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody,
when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!

Legends of Michigan and the Old North West, Or, A Cluster of Unpublished Waifs, Gleaned Along the uncertain, misty line, dividing traditional from historic times.
by Flavius Josephus Littlejohn
Publication date 1875

PDF etc - https://archive.org/details/legendsofmichiga00litt

I was finishing up my research on Flavius Josephus the Jewish historian and the PISO Family as authors of the New Testament, and the name cross, and so I'd ran across this fine book about Michigan and the various Native American Indian tribes in the North West during the last Ice Age.
Quite an interesting book, hard Winter in late 1700s. Excerpt below...
