Growing in Florida

Hi, down here in S. Florida, does anybody have any advice with controlling pests down here? Everything grows once you have soil but the damn bugs get it all before me.,

Hey Dr. Eric! The first step is to identify the pest(s). You should look up your county extension office. You can bring them pics, the pests themselves, or the damaged plants. They will be able to tell you what's going on. Then you can develop a strategy for addressing the issue.

I don't use pesticides because you kill the good bugs, too.

May I ask what your alternative method of managing destructive garden pests are?
