Climate and Seismic events intensifying faster than you, at first, thought??

Have other benchmarks exceeded initial expectations?

Geomagnetic field strength during the Holocene:

Did the run into a grand solar maximum provide "cover" for the weakening magnetosphere?
Did a strengthening "first defense", (heliosphere/solar system) mask the waning of our "second defense" (magnetosphere/Earth)??
Is there some "catching up" to do as far as reaction time, to the now combined weakness?
Does "catching up" involve greater acceleration of climate variability and seismic activity intensification than first expected?

Thank you for that. I spent some time reading, thinking and scratching my head. The following video made it all make more sense:

Spending my time watching apples dehydrating & happy in time spent reading here http://magneticreversal.org/
The better news I got out of the "Is the Earth's Magnetic Field About to Flip?
"It looks dramatic from the perspective of Deep Time, but during a reversal the changes over a human lifetime will probably be little different from the secular variation we see today. No extinction event has ever been linked to a magnetic field reversal, and I think that we might just cope with the next one too – whenever it might occur."

On the "catching up" part, I think it will accelerate, soon. Winter is here. My new goal is to understand the FLIP. I've a lot to learn.
Keep prepping!

The pole shift basically means this won't be a garden variety GSM.
Other people have looked into the correlation between magnetic polar movement and climate "adjustment" and have found it to be quite significant.

"Analysis of the movement of the Earth's magnetic poles over the last 105 years demonstrates strong correlations between the position of the north magnetic, and geomagnetic poles, and both northern hemisphere and global temperatures. Although these correlations are surprising, a statistical analysis shows there is a less than one percent chance they are random, but it is not clear how movements of the poles affect climate."

Would be nice to see work done on the question since this paper in 2009. I haven't seen anything yet. If you come across something let me know. thx.
