I couldn't find published books on how to identify food out in nature that I felt were that much help to me so I decided to catalog online work, credited of course, with big color photos and all the important information. I am doing this for myself and will take it to be printed out at a copy shop when I am finished. I'm a long way from finished, just started it last Sunday but go have a peek - https://naturalwildfood.blogspot.com/ and see what you think. When I finish you might want to print out a copy for yourself and as long as the internet is up and running it will be there but you can't depend on that, hence the printed copy.

There are over 160 posts already up. I will be adding more information to these as I come across it and more pictures as needed. I want this to be so good that you can carry it with you to go search for nature's wild edibles.

Great job on that blog! I have recently picked up the hobby of edible/medicinal plants in my environment (SW Ohio). So far it has been a lot of fun learning and I will be sure to check your site often.
Thanks for sharing and keep it up!

great job, yes, even before i learned about this grand solar minimum i knew we needed to diversify our food supply into more perennials, and truly "tough" weed like plants. jerusalem artichokes is an excellent pick.
