Hey :)

Today I harvested a ripe courgette off our plant and made an omlette with it. Then I noticed our Nasturtiums were seeding and collected some seed. Harvested the potato plant and got a very small amount of baby potatoes.
When shopping earlier I bought spare bottles of water and rice.
Yesterday I saved many heads of Calundela seeds and a full head of sunflower seeds.
Regards.

Worked on my boat, optimizing for 'sea trials'. It is a 17' 1986 Boston Whaler with a 115 hp Yamaha, which I am configuring as a oyster lease survey boat. It will use a great deal less fuel than other boats of similar use. I bought it used, though barely, and it was garaged. I will have a classy ride on oyster habitats, and something I can launch by myself.

Harvested wild lettuce and started making tinctures.

I took care of my chickens, saved Anaheim pepper seeds, and joined this forum!

Got electric wiring out to the Tough Shed (8 x 24). Got the solar guys lined up to come out this next week to install the solar panels on the Tough Shed. Received a bunch more heirloom seeds.

Today is my birthday. I am 64, and have been singing the song for 50 years! I sing it very well. We went and ate pho. I am in the midst of transmuting my favorite older chicken. She has gotten so old that she is blind. Today she could not leave the coop, so I have taken her out and put some food beneath her. I will have to go outside now, in the rain, and do the deed. Maybe she will be reincarnated? I don't believe that, but I do think that there may be chickens in Heaven.

Hey Creole, I'm sorry about your hen friend. They give us so much. At least her human friend was there for her at the end. So many birds never get that.
