Happy Friday!

Did some reality awareness.
I think my 1st choice is Wyoming.
Possibly North Dakota as a runner up.

Hard choice there Andy. North Dakota while I personally would find fun in surviving in, doesn't look like the best real estate going into the GSM and with ND/Minnesota having seen 8 blizzards between then. Plus the higher North, the more increased cosmic radiation as time goes on. Sounds like even more work especially with NK being one of the coldest winters in the Country.

On the other hand, Nebraska is getting a mega shit ton of rain and more hail too, but it's pobably where I'd choose out of the two as they're not seeing the same higher than average UV which has been providing nice florida like days, when there is sun of course. They're getting lots more rain than I am, and simply without a working gutter system for last 2 years it's gonna costs me many thousands to fix all the new damage. Since you are smart/resourceful I don't see this being a worry as you'll come up with something.

I've just been maintaining the garden myself - the insect killer pretty much mottled all of the tomatoes but a few are slightly untouched. Most have blooms and some small fruit budding but for the most part these Munchers are handling the excess rain like a champ. So all in all I'm a little more optimistic if carrots/lettuce/cucumbers are doing okay and the tomatoes too outside of my own issues.

Started a prototype air scrubber and just got done making my first big batch of activated charcoal. Gotta let it sit for 72 hours yet, but update when it's ready

If Carbon Dioxide [CO2] is so bad for the planet and causing global warming, why isn't Carbon Dioxide banned?
As a carbonated drink goes flat, it's because the CO2 gas is lighter than the liquid and rises and escapes into the air.

Chemistry nomenclature, last time I looked CO2 is carbon dioxide and can't be anything but CO2.

Pressurized tanks of CO2 gas is used to carbonate Coca Cola and other carbonated drinks.
Carbonated drinks is one of the largest Global Market products.

Why isn't carbonated drinks banned worldwide if CO2 is the cause of AGM?
My new cover is, I'm asking for a friend and friend says, CO2 is a joke and so is AGM....

My friend wanted to know how to make home made CO2 generator for growing MJ,
so, ask a Librarian...

well shite, shoulda put in comedy zone

@Kink that's some good thoughts. Thank you for your vote of confidence. I'm thinking Northern Utah or Southern Wyoming. I am choosing based on Demographics of the area and amenities available. Also for the larger towns nearby. I have some ideas.

Yesterday was interesting, I got change at the market and it was a "stmpr" dollar bill.
STMPR is tracking the travels of a dollar bill, supposedly to get money out of politics; how, I don't know.
It has a red stamp with and a word after the /
The one I got traveled from Los Angeles to New York, through the Southern states then Texas & on to Arizona.

I enjoy fun little diversions. Started listening to Colin Flaherty (former police) (now listening on Podbean on cellphone) and WOW. People had best wake up to reality. I'd never used cellphone for listening to anything. It's time I did.
Kink, Philly is near as bad as Chiraq or Memphis so, KNOW your area well.

Happy to see we have a lot of regular users reading as guests here.

@dirtymurphy I did some field work, then I worked it up for you. The percentages are by weight in grams. 15:85 ratio for 1Kilogram is 150 gms to 850 gms viewtopic.php?p=3965#p3965

Grant Thompson "The King of Random" very popular youtuber since 2010 died in a hang gliding accident July 29th, leaving his wife and 4 young children.
One of the good guys. Just an all around funny and nice guy who did ~10 min videos on random fun topics. The Kid and his own kids loved his channel.
RIP Grant.

August 1st Thursday?
I don't know, I'm listless this month. Must update ToDo List and get on track.
Baking more Hardtack today. Need to go to Farmer's Market before weekend for food dehydrating, what produce, I don't know.
I'm reading Colin Flaherty's book, DMTBKA, it's a real eye opener.

Death Penalty has been reinstated officially by AG Barr. He hand picked the heinous cases of 5 inmates to be ended between December 9th and January 15th....I read those cases - Bad Bad...and just might spark some new Civil Unrest around Holidays.

Adapt2030 latest video/chat, DuByne has recognized the Unrest ahead. Tiny House Prepper (central Texas) did as well & his talk was a very interesting take on gardening.

Carry on!

We experienced a weather event earlier in the week (rain, a drop in temp and humidity) which triggered a massive wild mushroom flush. Today I went and harvested a load of chanterelles, porcini, and pine boletes and the dehydrator is full.

I do this whenever the weather triggers a flush, and I store the dried mushrooms in sealed containers that I then use to trade for other things like honey, and wild game.

It's a great network builder :-)

 I know. Yesterday, it was a 5 min & 6 min variance but not a stable numerical sequence. So, it is manual postings.
