200# of beef chuck at $.50 a pound, and two boxes of five 17.5 pound prime rib roasts for $2 a pound. From a wholesaler for the dining out industry. <sigh> this end of the world shit is fucked up, but my family is not going hungry in it. take care all, eyes open, no fear.

Yes. Prices are great for really bad reasons. <sigh>

Eyes open, no fear, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

Been a while since I've posted, figured I'd share my latest project - a quantum board LED grow light build! Got it all wired and lit up within 2 hours of the parts being delivered, everything looking fantastic besides one of the strips having 8 dead diodes on it ( my life). The picture is at the lowest voltage, believe me when i say at 100% with the dimmer it is so bright you physically cannot look at them!

Each strip has the following diodes:
58x Samsung LM301B 2700k, 16x LM301H 4000k, 16x LM301B 6500k, 4x 660nm Deep Red, 2x 730nm Far Red(IR)
The deep red + IR allow for the Emerson Effect, greatly increasing photosynthesis.

These things are a game changer and certainly where we need to be heading in these coming years. The total build cost for this 7 strip, 250w (1400ma, 24V each) setup was roughly $310 (Excluding the heatsinks). This will allow me to grow full sized vegetable plants indoors, but for microgreens you would only need 2 of these strips per 2-4ft long shelving unit and they will excel beyond your wildest dreams.
I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe in this crazy year we've had so far.
