Beans. Two varieties. Not sure how to gauge it. I did make some trellises for them to climb. May have been too shaded. Results disappointing. I did replant some of the seeds and they sprouted but only grew a few inches. Not sure I will try again.

Tomatoes:
Tried in an 18 gallon bucket and a re-purposed metal cabinet I got for free. Added pre-fabbed trellises when they got bigger. Planted only two varieties, cherry and some small yellow thing. The neighbor lady loved the cherries. Begged me to have them. They were delicious!!!

Photo of tomatoes with trellises.
I saw a youtube video is an Aussie putting logs in the bottom of his raised beds so I tried it with saw bed on top then top-soil. I think I need more topsoil....

I tried several “sprouting” methods. They were dismal failures.... I will try again until I get it right.

Repurposed shipping crate from work. Tried two varieties of carrots and radishes. All too small. I will abandon this and install a raised bed in its place.

Radishes:
This is what I have learned. They grow Fast and Furious!!! I get a harvest very month! I have replanted seeds from my harvests and they grow just fine.
Here is a photo from this morning. Today is Dec 1, 2019. I picked that radish less than ten minutes ago and already ate it ;). What I learned: I left first batch in the ground too long. You have to pick the little worms off of them or you lose all the leaves. The leaves will grow back one time then the plant is pretty much done.

Bell Peppers:
I had extra soil laying around so I took some cinder blocks, stuffed em full of soil and planted them. Results: not good. Will try again in new raised beds.

My goal is to learn. I am achieving that goal. I am leaning towards focusing on corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes and radishes with some herbs thrown in.
Thanks for checking it out. Now go do something. In the end not doing something will cost you more than the mistakes you’ll make by trying. I’ll leave you will a couple of photos of the many different container I have tried.
