Part of today's haul from the 'local, regional' grocery store dumpster, that I have parboiled, peeled, and am preparing to pressure can or freeze.

Yep, we are going to have a challenging time in the UK.
GSM + Global Financial Crisis + Brexit
and we are an Island that imports most of what we eat.
Next weeks food is always on a boat somewhere.
Thank God we don't all have guns

Going to Wing Yip tomorrow to stock up on sacks of rice
I went to Tesos in Bradford and picked up a sack of long grain rice for £11 which I thought was a fairly good price to be honest. I don't have a huge amount of room but it's a start. I've bought around a months supply of pasta and I'm stocking up on tinned meat, fruit and veg.
The UK faces a number of challenges with Brexit around the corner and the GSM it can only be a wise thing to stock up.
For non brits reading this Brexit leaving the EU is like a single US state leaving the US. Pure madness. We're screwed!
