I have used All-Recipes for many years, it is my go-to for finding the most easy cook & based on the most easily stored foods for GSM. So is Bob's, I love his products for upping a few of my dried food stores. I do repack into Seal A Meal bags, usually larger bags than Bob's. He's on my shopping list today. On cornmeal mush, I sometimes top it with hot Chili for a nice meal. Corn cakes anyone?

Bob's Red Mill - ... meal-mush/

Cornmeal Mush:
Serves 8 (??) Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups cornmeal
2 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp salt (I don't use salt)

1) Mix together cornmeal, water, and salt in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes.
2) If using as cereal, spoon mush into bowls and serve with milk and sugar, if desired. If frying, pour mixture into a loaf pan and chill completely. Remove from pan, cut into slices, and fry in a small amount of oil over medium-high heat until browned on both sides. Serve with sauce of your choice.
