True Day!
I'm not addicted to computer, I work on PCs, it makes money for me to spend on prepping.

Today, I ordered a box of P-Nut Butter in packets. Then, had an Epiphany! So I cancelled order.
WHY? I have a Seal-A-Meal and can make my own packets of PB.

Here's an extensive list of Items for a Emergency Survival Kit for vehicles - http://diy-alternative-energy.com/do-yo ... y-car-kit/
I had to laugh at "Vice" Grips. A real Freudian Slip  Normal misspellings are ignored unless funny!
I have several vice's and might need Vise Grips to hang onto them.
I need a few more items.
Carry on!

I came to the forum and learned some things from some really smart people! I also ordered some more copper plates for another generator and a case of 50 LED garden lamps in 12 - 14 volt DC format. I will be giving a set of e27 socket LED garden lamps (85 - 265 VAC) to my brother to get him started on his own garden. I love how industrious and creative everyone is here and I look forward to reading more wonderful posts with some of the best ideas I have come across in a long time... keep it coming folks!

Walter.

Wanna Cook?
I do. I'm playing with modifying a new recipe for Seal A Meal bags, posted plan under Recipe Bag thread. Also doing a huge jar for P-Nut Butter packets tomorrow.
I'm getting ready to wire up AUX 12 VDC Switched Power ON LED board, 2 cigarette sockets & a 12 VDC SAE Socket, all 3 are individually fused. Photo coming soon. Also the Fire Starter battery holder was delivered :P

While I was researching MRE costs vs making my own, on Amazon, you know how they show you dozens of ads for everything you're not looking for. There were engraved Copper finger rings about $15 each. I'd recently done some PEX tubing and had about 80 leftover 1/2" PEX rings.
A 1/2" ring fits my little finger and I have an engraving tool to play with, and a Dremel to polish it with. Come to think of it, I have leftover Copper Pipe 5/8" & 3/4", I'm about to dig them out and slice on Mitre Saw into other size rings. The Amazon rings were split for adjustable sizes. Into the Barter bag they'll go.

Using cranial simulation the rings turned out pretty nice, shiny even.

Kink said he's enjoying his DIY Berkey water :D
There's the other busy ones, Walter, Harry, dirtymurphy, Nattybumpo, occasionally Christian but he's busy.
Anomaloushoward is MIA.
I see I've missed some fairly new & happily prepping members... YAY! Welcome to you all.

I guess I'm keeping up with prepping as best I can, dreaming up new projects.
I'm heading over to catch up on a few new GSM videos. I'm behind!
Carry on!

Thoth's day?
I'm using up my energy on physical chores, then plan on the sit down tasks.
I rewired up the pump using Logic OR gate 2 switched input. The first stage of that project, I had wired only one switch on main panel. Then experience, I'd had to run over to the main switch to turn it off. Thinking about doing 3 way switches like done in home hallways, way too much excess wiring. So I put a 12VDC wire to fuse box near the pump, and an On/Off switch inline. Now I can turn off or on from either end. The thing with using a manually switched pump, it's automatic to turn it off :D

Finishing up the 3 socket wiring now, have camera battery charging. Doing PB packets later.
Still working on making a decision of type of Rocket Stove. Then I found this $299.00 complete one, it has a lot of good features that I like https://www.gstove.com/gstove/12002/gst ... glass-door

Inspired by Andy F, I started working on a spreadsheet breaking down different crops/livestock by Calorie yield per space/time required. It's informative, and I hope to shape this into a video that can spur some discussion as to how to take growing to the next level: producing a steady supply of greens is nice, and can go a long, long way in supplementing groceries or stored food, but what would it look like to grow 100% of caloric needs? Michael Kotutwa, Hopi dry farmer, can do it in what seems an impossible setting. A lot of corn, beans and melon...

Our baby is due in the next 14 days, and things have been completely insane here. I hope you are all well.

Warmly,
Christian

Freezing?

Christian,
Thank you. One open thanks often means 100 thank you's left unspoken. Ooh, a new baby SOON! That is so exciting and so scary at the same time. You're a smart & level headed man though, it'll all be fine. Try to nap & sleep during the day while that baby sleeps! Lot of parents make a big mistake and regularly try to get too much done while baby is asleep. Then they become exhausted and quickly burn out. Parenting is hard work, but rewarding!
I'll be thinking of you and family, praying for a good life ahead for your young family, & those here in IAF too.

Today, I am painting a few coats of (LT) Red&Black GB Liquid Tape on soldered connections on my 12 VDC Power sockets board. I have Potting Compound, but....the LT was easier. I can't wait to flip the switch ON
I'm threading R/B 12AWG wiring inside Split Loom, getting ready to mount the board & do the final wiring hookups, while listening to CD named "Out of Tuva" by Sainkho Namtchylak. It's really different, I can't understand a word she sings though, but I hear the stories. Her Paris concert is good

Did some catching up on YT videos, I wish everyone would listen to Patriot Nurse last few YT videos, she is American Jewish & knows the history, and agrees with what I know about RU's Marxism, NeoCons are Bolshevists & Social Democrats & coming Civil War ahead here in USA. I've followed PN for a couple years now.
People can't ignore it, history repeats, and it is real.

Keep Prepping & Carry on!

Love PN -- she is a firecracker.

Christian, I'd wanted to share that video right after she posted it, also the one she did earlier on News Media calling for Civil War.
Thank you for posting it, I was kind of afraid to though. I'd been watching the Virginia abortion bill, PNs video about the full term abortions was so real, her righteous anger & unwillingness to go along with it, and I have been angry over it too. I don't think majority of people are too complacent & unable to recognize just how bad things really are here, GSM, or about what is ahead of us all politically. People don't much want to or like to face reality, not meaning our group.

I just keep plodding along, making plans & doing what I have to do. It gets done.

Andy F, you might want to check out Martin Armstrong's work if you aren't familiar with it already. I read his blog every day. https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/
I pulled a muscle earlier this week, hobbled around for a couple of days, then got a migraine. It was hard because we had some absolutely beautiful weather. Now that I feel better, the weather is getting colder and wetter. I got quite a bit done today though. I bought lots of seeds, chicken grit, a tent, and two books: Liquid Gold: The Lore and Logic of Using Urine to Grow Plants and Natural Enemies Handbook: The Illustrated Guide to Biological Pest Control. Oh, we also made more newspaper logs.

I love Patriot nurse, actually just found her channel the other day and the first video was that anti late term abortion one.

Still haven't managed to get the chainsaw tuned 100%, issue is I can get it kicking, idling, etc. Just a PITA getting it to idle without the chain spinning but I'm getting closer each session I work on it, maybe the fuel filter is dirty or the prime line too long, etc will have to give it a go later again today. Managed to clean up the other two wood cribs and am going to try starting the next one the size as the last one. I love being out in single digits or colder weather with my immune system/asthma issues, helps a lot I've found. Gonna clean out the downstairs freezers, grandfather has a bunch of tomatoes, sheephead mushrooms, fish, etc I need to see if any are good and seal. Really need a greenhouse here son so I can grow outdoors at all.

Listening to some Miles Davis, sipping coffee and getting ready to tackle the day. Carry on Ice soldiers!
