That was a city guy's, I'm 65 , 1st cow. Stays on a farm down the road with other cows.
Looking to co-op our lifestyle here. We heat with wood, use spring water and experiment with making anything from liquid plant foods to canning, soaps and balms.
Just an old hippie in the country loving life, watching the signs that food and shelter will define the haves and the lost.
Lose electricity for a few weeks and watch it all come apart.
I'd say there is a dire need for the basic survival manual or something similar. I'm not sure most can even build a safe usable fire.
Working on microhydro as we are sitting on the largest unfiltered water source we know of.
