Forum disruption, massive lengthy useless posts crowds out the real members posts, is their goal. They offer nothing useful, only confusion. Ignoring them is best for now.

I think I got them all...

They were all from a few emails with consecutive IPs, so I assume a call/message center

You're so good!

Thank you.
Hopefully, Christian can get the phpBB plugins for stopping spammers. Apparently it is automatic IF the user name or the text in the posts, are in their spammy database. Apparently those that aren't in database, when you ban or delete their posts, that info then goes into the Spam database.
I think there's also a plugin where a new member cannot post any links until after a Admin decided number of regular posts. That might work.
Carry on!

I was just curious. Wasn't complaining. I honestly thought that maybe the Announcements forum was to cage them. LOL Good job, guys.

Hahaha, what a great idea! "The Bot Cage...enter at your own risk" I will give it a try. They seem to pick the first forum because they are bots, so maybe one just for them until we figure out how to keep them out. At least then if it takes us a moment to clear them out they will be in their own space, not muddying up our threads...

Okay, Bot cage set up...I moved it to the top because they seem to post mainly in the first forum, and I set it to auto purge daily.

Some are not bots, like the porn person.
Those that are bots, the posts are all posted in quick succession, 2 or 3 in 1 minute.
Porn wasn't bot, it took nearly 15 mins to make 21 posts.
