Here's yet another update on the flooding here. Chris with Asheville Fungi had his mycology lab flooded out over the weekend. The water has been pumped out and he's waiting for things to dry before he and I remove the mud and bleach everything later this week. It sucks because he hadn't fully recovered from the last flood before this one hit this weekend. His losses are uninsured because he's in a flood plain. I think this will be his last year in this location. At least he has a buddy who'll work for free :D

That's awful news. I remember what happened a while back. Is he staying in NC area?
Good on you to help him out, what goes around comes around. Let it go out as only good.

Big time storms in Ozarks now. Severe rain storms with high winds and there have been some tornado activity.
